PANEL ONE (upper lefthand quarter of page)

Tarrant sits in the cockpit of the _Kestrel_, going through his
preflight checklist, a large, thick, metal-covered book. We're looking
'down' on him from outside the little golden, boomerang-shaped vessel.
Behind it, we can see a bit of the _Resplendent Quetzal_'s hull it's
attached to (the cockpit is facing up or forward).

Tarrant: 'Interociter, check. Flux capacitor, check ... '

Narrative: 'Meanwhile, others among _Resplendent Quetzal_'s company
had their own concerns ... '

PANEL TWO (upper righthand quarter of page)

Now we're inside _Kestrel_, looking past Tarrant's shoulder at the
yoke, control panel, and out the front window into space. Tiny in the
distance we can see a pair of sailing ships.

Tarrant: 'Bopamagilvie, check. Moebius coil, check. Manschenn drivers,
check.'

PANEL THREE (lower half of page)

_Kestrel_ tears herself upward and backward, away from the
_Resplendent Quetzal_, in a blaze of white light from the driving
surfaces.

Tarrant (from inside the little ship): 'Ignition ... _Ghaaaaaa_!!!'
